Who can apply?

Artists living in Pima, Cochise, or Santa Cruz counties. All artists must be at least 18 years old.

What can be shown?

Art celebrating a variety of themes related to love, including: polyamorous, ethically non-monogamous, and other consensual forms of relationship; mindfulness, personal growth and healing; POC and LGBTQIA+ experiences. Submissions of work focused on other themes and subjects are also welcome, with a focus on providing representation for artists who identify as members of the global majority and/or members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

While submitted work may be erotic and sexual in nature, the overall theme is love in its various expressions and manifestations. Judgement criteria include tastefulness, artistic quality and how the work fits into the overarching vision of Southwest Love Fest. Depictions deemed explicitly sexual in nature will be displayed in a clearly marked area that is inaccessible to minors.
